International Bhojpuri Film Awards- IBFA History :

IBFA is a set of awards presented by the International Bhojpuri Film Award to honor both artistic and technical excellence of professionals in Bhojiwood. Bhojpuri film industry is known as Bhojiwood. Not only the IBFA presents Bhojpuri cinema award but also an award to the Hindi language film industry, Bollywood.  IBFA was instituted in 2000,  since then the award shows are being held every year in different countries. This year award show is being held in Malaysia .

This is the forth year in a row which was held in Malaysia from 21 July 2018. The fourth DISHUM International Bhojpuri Film Awards were awarded to the professional for their contribution in the Bhojpuri cinema. The awards are categorized in many fields like Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Actor in a Negative Role, Best Actor in A comic role, and Best Debut etc.

International Bhojpuri Film Awards- IBFA 2017

The third international Bhojpuri Film Award was held in London on July 16, 2017 in which the Best Actor ws given to Pawan Singh and the Best actress award was given to Madhu Sharma. The Star of the millennium award was honored to Manoj Tiwari. The verstile actor Ravi Kishan was chosen for the Best Actor Critic’s choice. The best director award ws given to Aslam Sheikh who is again in the news for his upcoming movie MAA TUJHE SALAAM whereas Abhay Sinha was awarded to the best producer awards in 2017.

DISHUM International Bhojpuri Film Awards- IBFA 2018

After London IBFA-2017, this year the fourth DISHUM International Bhojpuri Film Awards  organised in Malaysia, where the prominent personalities of Bhojpuri cinema got awarded for their outstanding work in Bhojiwood and for Bhojpuri Language .
The actor Ravi Kishan tweeted “Received #Nazir Hussain #award for my contributions in #bhojpuri cinema thank u #ibfa2018#malaysia “.
The lovable villain of Bhojpuri film Awdhesh Mishra says in Twitter, शुभ प्रभात दोस्तों,,, मैं तो IBFA अवार्ड में मलेशिया पहुंच गया,, अवार्ड भी मिल गया film (मेहंदी लगा के रखना) के लिए.. पर मुंबई में मेरा बच्चा “Champ” लड़ रहा है जिंदगी ऑर मौत से… सुना है दुआओं में बहुत शक्ति होती है,,हो सके तो दुआ कीजिए कि मेरा Champ जीत जाए.. , actually his pet is suffering and even though he attended the award ceremony.
