In 1972, the director Mohan Sehgal had made a Bollywood love story under the banner of Seven Art Pictures, named RAJA JANI. This movie has Dharmendra, Hema Malinin and Prem Chopra in lead roles. The film was a super hit in its time and had been remade in Telugu as Adutha Varisu. The music of this film was good and beautifully composed by Laxmikant–Pyarelal.
With its emmence success and popularity, this time the director Manoj Kushwaha is all set to release RAJA JANI in Bhojpuri language. Starring Khesari Lal Yadav, Priti Biswas, Deboshmita, Anand Mohan, Gopal Roy, Sanjay Mahanand, Nilam & Dev Singh this film is totally different from the Dharmendra’s RAJA JANI. Though both are the love stories but plot of the movie is totally different. There are couple of songs in this movie which are penned by Pyare Lal, Azad Singh & Shyam Dehati and composed by Lal Babu Pandit.
